According to Le10Sport, Chelsea have made a new €50 million offer for the former Napoli striker.
The Uruguay international remains keen to leave Parc des Princes, despite the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and is seeking a new challenge.
Antonio Conte is keen to land Cavani and made the offer, following Atletico’s Madrid’s approach for Diego Costa.
However, PSG want at least €80m for the 29-year-old which is expected to put off the Blues.
Chelsea have so far signed Michy Batshuayi from Marseille and
N’Golo Kante from Leicester City this summer.
